613-90-1474 scammers calling from this number

My dad got a call from this number and was asked to provide more information otherwise he was threatened that RCMP was on thr way to arrest him. These are scammers trying to obtain money from vulnerable people. The scammer has an Indian accent. They will target senior citizens, new immigrants the most. Do not provide any information just hang up. The scammers number is 613-907-1474.

Just got a call this number saying that somebody filed a complaint against me to the Canadian embassy in my home country, he mentioned my home address!! Then he kept asking my first name I didn't give, how long I have been in Canada, I ask what is the full name of the person he has a complaint and what is the file number or any solid information. I even asked him to transfer me to a supervisor to give the full information about complaint. He did and it ends up to be someone very rude threatening me I should provide more information or the police will be at my door then he hanged up. He has a strong accent. I am so grateful I did not share any of the information.

all these callers are Indian from India (may be Canadian residents or citizens) but their accent is Indian from India. These are the people who are no 1 at scams, corruption and manipulation. They harass us everyday thinking we are fools and will succumb to their manipulations. You go to hell you sick people. Why don't you jump in the Indian Ocean you don't deserve to live in a nice country like Canada

Person named Ali, Simon, David, and Sam but all got same voice! I'm getting call from this no since more than 6 months. They offered air duct cleaning for home. I replied that I don't need this service and requested not to call me again. Although, they didn't stop disturbing .Also from the same no I got a call informing me that there is a case filed against me in my home country. Luckily I didn't believe him rather asked him to mail copy of those complains to my address ( I didn't give my address ,as I told, if you are from immigration Canada then it must be there.), also asked him to mention his full legal name,designation, and personal identification number in immigration Canada- he hung up immediately!

I got the call today too total scam

I got a call today and they were calling about my mom but started talking to me. The guy has a thick indian accent and was saying they got a complaint from the Canadian citizenship or immigration embassy. He offered to transfer me to an officer and thats when I was thinking if its for my mom why are you talking to me since this is legal stuff but for some reason he couldnt hear me any more and I could hear him say heeeelllooooo abe kithe chale gayi tu (which means huh where did you go?) This is a total scam!!!!!! They called from 613-907-1474

Lots of calls from this number....scam SOBs.

My wife got the call. Thick east indian accent. He thought She was me and started speaking in a threatening voice. My wife could not understand him and said I was busy. He then threaten to call the police and deport me. I tried to call him back to 'play' with him and scam him but his phone was busy. I wanted to give him some of his own medicine back.

Said they were from Canadian immigration and RCMP, could not understand them with a thick Middle East accent! Wanted to know all my info, refused to give them anything!

I also received a call from this number telling me to pay around $1000 or me and my family get deported. A person with an Indian accent called Jerry Williams claimed to be calling from the Canadian Embassy. First they called and said someone from my 'home country' of Pakistan sent an arrest warrant in my name, but I am not from Pakistan, when I told that to them they started questioning where I'm from. Then they told me not to contact anyone and go straight to the post office and post money to an address. They told me NOT to hang up or call anyone. We contacted our relatives and they informed us it was a scam

I had the exact same situation so one called from this number and claimed to be form the embassy and how they will deport u if we don't pay a fine of 1100$. We informed the local police and they said it's a scam ignore the calls and do not give out any Information

This number called me three times today, I obviously thought this was a scam, Upon my investigation he gave me a fake address in Ottawa and a fake business registration number. When I told him I will be filing a complaint, he started swearing in English/URDU/Punjabi. Does anyone know how we can proceed to get this number blocked or some legal action against them.

Looks like an immigration scam. It involves a caller pretending to be from immigration canada claiming a court case by a foreign embassy and a police warrant to be arrested within 15 minutes. The caller has indian/pakistani accent. He will ask for full name, date of birth and place of origin. This scammer also asks about phone numbers of other family members.

I have also received the same call today, at first I was scared but then after some time I realized that this is a scam and I disconnect the call.

they said that i did not provide copy of citizenship to canadian embassy in my home country so i would be arrested within 72 hrs
